School Board Advisory Committees

The School Board of the City of Norfolk is accepting applications for the following Advisory Committees (Special Education, Gifted Education, Career and Technical Education and the School Health Advisory Council) to receive valuable input and advisement to support Norfolk Public Schools and the School Board.

Applicants for citizen member positions must be residents of the City of Norfolk.  However, committee members appointed to fill positions that represent related governmental bodies, agencies, service organizations or businesses are not required to reside in the City of Norfolk, preference may be granted to this group of applicants who are also residents of the City of Norfolk.
