      About the Summit

      • Norfolk Public Schools’ Department of Learning Support - Special Education Services is hosting the 2023 Connecting for Students Community Summit to provide an engaging, supportive experience that promotes learning without limits for students and embodies NPS’ Continuing the Drive for 5 initiative. The summit will serve as a platform for families and educators to connect and collaborate. We want to create an opportunity to strengthen the community and school connection by giving families and staff the necessary tools and information to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment in which all students can thrive.

The event is FREE for all NPS staff, community members, and parents/guardians. Significant resources are being invested in making this event possible. Our sincerest hope is that staff, community members, and parents/guardians will take advantage of what we are certain will be an amazing opportunity to learn and support our children.
