In alignment with Governor Ralph Northam’s executive order issued on March 23, 2020, Norfolk Public Schools will be closed through the end of the school year. The Governor indicated that this decision was made to protect the health of all Virginians and minimize the spread of the current Coronavirus disease.

Due to Norfolk Public Schools being placed on  no extracurricular or afterschool activities mandate all Specialty Programs follow-up interviews, auditions, essays and testing are postponed until further notice.  Also, due to this postponement it is likely to back up the process and acceptance notification will be delayed.  Continue to monitor the school and/or NPS web page for updates.
