Karen Berg came to Maury as an assistant principal in July 2010.  When the principal resigned in December 2011, Ms. Berg emerged as the ideal choice to lead Maury High School as interim principal through the remainder of the school year.  In June 2012, she was named the new principal of Maury High School.

Ms. Berg has been employed by Norfolk Public Schools since 1993.  She taught history/social studies for over 12 years, including, but not limited to Advanced Placement (AP) U.S. history, AP government, and AP human geography.  She also served as a department chair, dean of students, and assistant principal.

Ms. Bouziane enters her twenty-fourth year at Maury High School.  She has been employed by Norfolk Public Schools since August 2000 where she taught French at Maury.  Ms. Bouziane served Norfolk Public Schools not only as a teacher but also as a soccer coach and department chair before becoming an Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Dunn enters her eighth year at Maury High School and sixth year as assistant principal. Entering her twenty-fourth year as an educator in Norfolk Public Schools, she served ten years as science department chairperson at Lake Taylor High School. Mrs. Dunn has also served on various school and district committees.

Mr. Mangum enters his twelfth year at Maury High School.  Prior to coming to Maury, he was a dean of students at Norview High School.

This is Mr. McCracken's fifth year at Maury.  He was a CTE teacher and sponsored the National Honor Society and the SCA. 

Vicki Lorson comes to Maury after years of service in the Norfolk Public Schools Central Office.    She comes to Maury with a wealth of knowledge related to Norfolk Public Schools policies and procedures, and always ensures that the Maury way is always the right way.
