Student Information Systems
The Student Information System (SIS) support office is responsible for the development, installation, maintenance, and operational support of the district’s automated student information management software systems.Systems currently in operation include those used for managing; student registration, daily attendance recording and reporting, student scheduling, grade and other academic history recording and reporting, discipline referral tracking, and the recording and reporting of special needs information.The SIS support office also provides direct support to teachers for the district’s automated gradebook system.
Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the school district’s student data is a primary focus of the SIS support office.
Members of the SIS staff constantly strive to stay abreast of technological advancements that can be brought to NPS schools and administrative offices to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the school district’s student record keeping processes, and to enhance information flow to our teachers and administrators.
