Junior University (JU) is an enrichment program for academically talented middle school students (rising 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade students) offered by the Office of School Counseling and Guidance. JU provides academic activities that are aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning and have an emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  These classes are geared toward preparing students for the honors and advanced courses they will take in middle school and high school.

Dates:            June 27, 2022– July 21, 2022 (Monday – Thursday)

                        No classes on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Time:             9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Location:       Academy for Discovery at Lakewood (ADL)

Tuition:         Tuition includes the instructional program and transportation for students residing in Norfolk
