The National Junior Beta Club at Sherwood Forest Elementary School inducted 11 new members. Last year, the school chartered the honor soceity with nine members! The National Junior Beta Club is the largest, independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. It encourages and rewards academic achievement, promotes character that make for good citizenship, and teaches members to lead by serving others. Eligible students at Sherwood Forest Elementary School must have two quarters of at least a 3.5 GPA, are excellent citizens, and have a desire to become student leaders within our building. Our Jr. Betas were inducted on October 2nd and had their first project on Sunday October 6th! They ran concessions at The East Coast Karate Tournament at Bethel High School in Hampton, Virginia! They are preparing to attend their first Leadership Summit on October 31st!  #BetasServe #BetasROCK
