      Our Students are S.T.A.R.S- Students That Are Ready to Succeed

      S.M.A.R.T. Goals:

      • (Literacy) By October 2023, ALL Northside students will improve Standards of Learning pass rate performance in English (Reading & Writing)from 58% (2020) to 70%. Secondly ALL students receiving service through Learning Support will increase the percentage passing English(Reading) SOL assessment from 35.88% to 50%.
      • (Numeracy) By October 2023, ALL Northside students will improve Standards of Learning pass rate performance in Mathematics 25 (2020) to 60%. Secondly, ALL students receiving service through Learning Support will increase the percentage passing Mathematics SOL from 8.93% to 50%.

    STAR Student Treasure Chest

    • Our Northside STARS are doing great things, and we want to reward their positive work towards the goals of improving literacy, attendance and accountability. Students are nominated each week and will be recognized on STARZ Morning News and presented with a goodie bag. The items on this list will help Northside provide incentives to stay focused on the goal and reward our Students That Are Ready to Succeed.
