Teacher-Chorus

Mrs. Trahan is in her 5th year as a choral director at Azalea Gardens Middle School. She attended Shenandoah University Conservatory of Music, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy. She obtained her master’s degree in Music Education with a focus in Choral Conducting from Old Dominion University.

She has been an active member of the community theater scene throughout the Hampton Roads area, as a singer and dancer, and plays piano, guitar, and the french horn. 

In her spare time, Mrs. Trahan enjoys reading, knitting, and going on walks with her husband, Nick and dog, Minnie.
