 Cynthia Dent is an experienced educator, administrator, and entrepreneur with expertise in family crisis counseling and education. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Shaw University, a Master’s in School Administration from Elizabeth City State University, and a Master’s of Christian counseling from Grace Bible College. I am highly skilled in cultivating effective relationships and linkages with other professionals. I work closely with new teachers to ensure they have what they need to be successful in the. I am an experienced middle school English /Social Studies teacher that is passionate about school improvement and facilitating a positive school and community culture. I enjoy being involved in an exciting educational environment such as Azalea Gardens Middle School, where students and faculty are treated with respect and appreciation. Here at AGMS, our focus is on writing across the curriculum! I love to read and share my favorite book selections with our students.
