Mrs. Yashaahla has been a teacher for Norfolk Public Schools since 2008. She has worked with children, in various capacities for 20 years. Mrs. Yashaahla has taught 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade math. Currently, she teachers Pre-Algebra 8 and serves as the Mathematics Department Chair. When Mrs. Yashaahla isn't teaching math, she enjoys reading, cooking, walking, and practicing yoga. Mrs. Yashaahla believes that when students nurture a growth mindset, they can be successful in math and life.
