  • Greetings Parents!

Please mark your calendars for an important briefing on GEARS for gifted and emergent scholars, scheduled for September 3, 2025, at 6 p.m. via Zoom. This session will provide valuable insights into our curriculum, enrichment objectives, and quarterly progress updates. If you are a parent of a second grader or new to our school community, I highly encourage your participation. Additionally, returning parents of gifted students are always welcome for a beneficial refresher.

Thank you for trusting me with your child's educational journey. I am excited about a motivating and successful year ahead!

  • Join the Gifted Education Advisory Committee (GEAC) to advocate for the needs of exceptional students in NPS across the district.

GEAC believes that all students deserve to be challenged, learn something new every day, and have the academic and social-emotional support needed to cultivate their true potential.

The first GEAC meeting is on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the Media Center at the Academy for Discovery at Lakewood.
