Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Non-NPS Attendees
Hampton Roads EdTech 2022
HRVA EdTech 2022 is a FREE VIRTUAL conference. Participants do not need to register to attend the conference. However, participants will register for each session with the Zoom registration link found under the session’s information in Sched.
How do I register for EdTech?
- In Sched, create an account and/or log in here.
- Browse the sessions listed in Sched.
- Locate the Zoom option and click on the Zoom registration link.
- Be sure you are logged into Zoom with an email address and use your full first and last name, so we can verify attendance in our zoom usage reports.
Remember to use the same email for Zoom and session evaluations.
When can I access sessions?
Each session will open about 5-10 minutes before the start of the session.
How do I ask a question if I need help?
Check the EdTech website: npsk12.com/edtech and select the HelpDesk button!
Do I need to submit session evaluations?
Yes. Submitting a session evaluation for each session is important to help record your professional development and to provide our planning committee and presenters with valuable feedback.
Where can I find the session evaluation link?
Each presenter will provide the link during or at the end of their presentation.

How will I get PD credit for attending?
The answer depends on where you work and what is required. Here are options:
Complete the session evaluation for each session you attend. Be sure to use the same email address and name (first and last).
Sched Print out:
Go to Sched.com > Log in > Select ‘Events You’re Attending’ > Select ‘HRVA EdTech 2022’ > Select ‘Email My Schedule’ (make sure to star/select the sessions you’ve attended for both days).
If you work in the following Hampton Roads districts, your professional development points will be provided to your district (Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, or Suffolk Public Schools). This information is based on the submitted evaluations.

Can I access session materials AFTER HRVA Edtech 2022?
Presenters have been asked to provide a link to their presentation for participants in their session description.
Do I have to attend on a specific device?
No, while it is recommended that you attend on a personal computer or laptop. You can attend on a tablet, smartphone etc. or check the session information to see if a specific device is recommended.
