Backing Up and Accessing Notes
Backing up Notes
Notes on Apple devices may be backed up in two locations.
Using iCloud on the device
- Click on Settings
- Scroll down and click on iCloud
- Ensure you are logged in to your iCloud account. If not Create an account.
- Verify syncing notes is on (the slider will be green), if not tap the slider to turn on.
Using Office 365 Mail client
- Ensure your device has been configured by a Site Engineer and is enrolled in Casper Device Management.
- Click on Settings
- Scroll down and click on “Mail, Contacts, Calendars’
- Under Accounts click on “NPS Email”. If it does not exist contact the Helpdesk for support.
- Verify syncing notes is on (the slider will be green), if not tap the slider to turn on.
Accessing Notes
Access notes from Outlook client on computer.
- Open Outlook mail client on Computer. If not installed launch the installer from the ZEN Window.
- At bottom click on the “…” to open additional navigation selections
- Click on “Notes”
- Double clicking on the note will open for review and editing.
Access Notes from Outlook Web
- Login to Outlook Online
- If not already expanded, expand the folders list
- Select “More” to view additional folders
- Select “Notes”
- Select the note for editing. there is no need to save the note if editing, clicking out of the note will automatically save and update on all devices.
