On Thursday, February 24, 2022, Jefferson Lab, NASA, and Newport News Shipbuilding once again teamed up for the annual Engineering Career Days event sponsored by the Peninsula Engineers Council. The 1-day virtual event included a Cyber Challenge provided by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.  All NPS CTE High Schools participated in the day.  From 9 am – 11 am classes listened to a keynote speaker, completed a “Phun with Physics” Demo, and participated in a Q & A session with an Engineering Panel.  Only teams that pre-registered participated from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm in the Virtual Cyber Challenge. Out of 31 teams across the Peninsula, NPS CTE placed 2^nd (NORSTAR: Purple Dinosaurs), 9^th (Granby HS NJROTC), and 16^th (Granby Cyber Comets). Congratulations to all!
