FBLA Students Attend VA Tech's Business Exploration Conference

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, 19 students from Granby’s Future Business Leaders of America attended VA Tech’s Business Exploration: A Fall Conference for High School Students.  The event was held at the Norfolk Technical Center and hosted by VA Tech’s Pamplin College of Business.  Student activities included: Business 101, Connecting Business Majors with Careers, a group communication skill building challenge and a teamwork activity.  These students are eligible to attend the all-expense paid VA Tech’s Business Exploration: A Spring Conference for High School Students weekend that will take place Spring 2020.

 

Students attending were: Jordyn Bacote, Suzanne Biboum, Yvonne Boadi, Denise Cowell, Eileen Cruz, Azucena Gordus-Huizar, Samaria Gray, Katherine Heine, Jayden Hughes, JaMier Lindsey, India Livingston, Janet Quillin, Katie Royal, Amir Shearn, Amoni Taylor, Charlotte Toomey, Andrew West, Eric Wiggins and Jala Williams.  Granby's sponsor, Mrs. Stocks and CTE Dept. Chair Ms. Marshall also attended.
