Norview High’s NJROTC wins Navy National awards

Norview High School’s NJROTC attended the Navy Nationals recently and took back the title of the #1 Armed Exhibition team with an almost perfect score!  For the first time, the Color Guard took fifth place in the national competition.  Kudos to the Drill Team that includes the unarmed and armed standard and the unarmed exhibition teams who collectively won the overall Drill Team competition taking third place. This is the highest honor the drill team has ever scored as they proudly obtained the 10th place in overall team.

Norview had two Cadets score in the top 10 for individual awards. Cameron Wynder Hill received  8th place out of 416 cadets in pushups, and Peyton Durnil took 4th place overall in curl-ups out of 416 cadets.
