Junior University (JU) is an enrichment program for academically talented middle school students (rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students) offered by the Office of School Counseling and Guidance. JU provides academic activities that are aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning and have an emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These classes are geared toward preparing students for the honors and advanced courses they will take in middle school and high school.

 

Dates:            June 24, 2019 – July 18, 2019 (Monday – Thursday)

                      No classes on Thursday, July 4, 2019.

Time:             8:30 a.m. – 12:55 p.m.

Location:       Norview Middle School

                      6325 Sewells Point Rd., Norfolk, VA 23513

Tuition:         Tuition includes the instructional program and transportation for students residing in Norfolk

                           $175 for NPS students

                           $275 for non-NPS students who reside in Norfolk

                           $285 for students who reside outside of Norfolk
