Maury High School and Granby High School Regional Championship game recaps:

Softball

Although the Granby High School Girls' Softball team put up a tough fight, they ultimately finished 2nd in the Class 5 Region B Championship game against Nansemond River, 10-6. The Lady Comets still advanced to the Class 5 state tournament for the second consecutive year.

Girls Soccer

The Maury High School Lady Commodores are the Class 5 Region B runner ups! Maury took on Nansemond River. The game ended Maury-0, Nansemond River-1. The Commodores advanced to the Class 5 state tournament. Congratulations, girls!

Boys Soccer

Granby High Comets boys' soccer team won its 1st regional runner-up trophy! Granby took on Kecoughtan in the Class 5 Region B championship game: Granby-1, Kecoughtan-2. Granby advanced to the state tourney for the 1st time in team history.
