NPS acknowledges Suicide Awareness Week, Sept. 9-13 and wants you to be S.A.F.E.
NPS wants parents, students and staff to be S.A.F.E. by acknowledging National Suicide Awareness Week on September 9-13, 2019.
S.A.F.E. at NPS means:
--Spread the word. Raise awareness of the problem of youth suicide and mental wellness.
--Access help! Learn of resources available to support students and staff in emotional distress.
--Flag or tell an administrator or trusted adult about concerns with students/staff.
--Engage in self-care. Mentally healthy students are successful students!
Posters and morning announcements on this topic will be shared throughout this week.
