Grades 1-2 Promotion Standards

Overall yearly grade-point average of 64 or above and a grade point average of 64 or above in literacy (reading and writing), mathematics, science, and social studies as evidenced by:

• Fourth quarter literacy proficency rating of 2 or higher
• Stage IV writing or above (grade 1) adn Stage V writing (grade 2)
• Achieving (64%) or higher on all essential mathematics grade level standards
• End of fourth quarter independent readinug level, grade 1-2.1 (Independent DRA 16)
• End of fourth quarter independent reading level, grade 2-3.1 (Indpendent DRA 28)
