NORSTAR MATE
At the MATE ROV Competition, students use their tech savvy, creativity, and critical thinking skills as they work to solve real-world problems. Students work together in groups known as companies to design, fund, build, and market their underwater robot to tackle missions based on scenarios as they compete against other companies from all over the world.
MEET THE NORSTAR MATE COMPANIES
 Our company, Boundless Submersibles, makes ROVs using CAD software, CNC machines, electrical and mechanical engineering processes. These ROVs provide materials and tools to scientists and government agencies, by having a cost-effective method for maintaining environmental sustainability, marine structures, and recording marine data.

 Subaquatic ROV Innovations is dedicated to marine technology innovation to advance exploration and development through computer aided design (CAD), development of electronic and electrical systems, and efficient collaboration, taking us “from the world we have to the world we want.”

 Our mission is to create fully functional ROVs for marine life and environmental researchers in order to accelerate environmental aquatic research by having perseverance, strategy, and teamwork.
  
 TIDAL Robotics’ mission is to develop high performance remotely operated vehicles that help with ocean security through gathering data on underwater systems and oceanic phenomena, as well as transferring the data to underwater-related specialists for information.
