Four Year Olds

Our four-year-old program serves students at most of our elementary schools. The largest portion of this preschool program is funded and guided by the Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI), a state-funded preschool program serving most school districts in Virginia. Although there are income requirements to this program, we encourage all families to submit an application as we have some flexibility to serve families outside of the income parameters. We also have three locally-funded preschool classes that do not have income requirements. 

Our preschool program collaborates with Head Start of Hampton Roads to ensure enrollment for all students.
