Overview

The Division of Academic Affairs, under the leadership of the Chief Academic Officer, is focused on academic supports, curriculum development, federal grants, professional learning, assessment and accountability.  From PreK through high school, NPS provides instruction in the four core areas of mathematics, language arts, science, and history/social sciences including opportunities for advanced level courses through dual enrollment opportunities and advanced placement classes.  Additionally, an array of elective opportunities are available to NPS students through world languages, career and technical education, fine and performing arts, and physical education to support every part of each student’s education.  To support all students NPS has robust early learning, Title I, English learner, school counseling, and special education departments under the umbrella of Academic Affairs.
