Dr. Margie G. Stallings, Principal
Dr. Margie G. Stallings began her career as a marketing teacher with Norfolk Public Schools, serving in that role for 15 years before advancing to administrative positions. She has 30 years of educational experience, all with Norfolk Public Schools. She served as an assistant principal on the high school level for 9 years until she was appointed middle school principal in 2002, serving for 2 years, and principal of the evening school programs for 2 years. She was appointed principal of Booker T. Washington High School in July 2016. Dr. Stallings received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing Education from Old Dominion University. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s of Science in Administration and Supervision in Vocational Education as well as her Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Administration PreK-12, both from Old Dominion University. Dr. Stallings received a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Stallings is a strong advocate for ensuring that all students are afforded opportunities inside and outside of the classroom. Dr. Margie Stallings believes in lifelong learning and strongly believes in the power of knowledge.
