  • Updated Guidelines for Specialty Programs, Spring 2020

    Due to the extended school closure mandated by Governor Northam, the Specialty Program Committee has reviewed the application process and the following adjustments have been made:

     ·         There will be no program testing;

    For all programs: Students will be notified of their status for the 2020-21 school year in a mailing scheduled to be sent out on April 27, 2020.

  • Dominion Energy’s Energy Assistance has recently changed their assistance guidelines to ensure everyone that needs help can get it. They have also increased the amount of assistance for their EnergyShare Cooling program from $300 to $600.

    Although Dominion Energy has suspended all disconnections for non-payment, customers will still be responsible for paying for the power being used eventually. This could be a big issue for families not paying for 2 or 3 months. Assistance is still being offered to help prevent anyone from falling behind.
