Schoolwide Instructional Focus The staff at Tidewater Park Elementary School will work together to teach comprehension skills in all content areas. We will teach students how to justify their work by using Close Reading and Sketch Noting as we continue to develop lessons that will increase and improve vocabulary. Teachers will use a variety of formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and feedback will be provided.
Student Friendly Instructional Focus We can comprehend the text we read in all subjects by justifying our work and increasing our vocabulary!
