Torrion Espree named among those continuing to Implement MLK's Dream 

Student School Board Representative, Torrion Espree was honored at the 21st Annual Implement the King Dream Awards Gala on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Murray Center.  The youngest of seven honorees recognized for their community service efforts, Torrion humbly accepted the award.  To add to the distinction of the evening, School Board Chair, Rodney Jordan presented the plaque to him and Courtney Doyle, School board Member attended in support.  Although Espree's many accomplishments were highlighted, during his acceptance remarks he gave a charge to the audience in reference to the continuing the legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, "Honor not only his dream, but his vision in all that you do".  The complete lists if the 2017 honorees (pictured from left to right) include: Reverend Michael Toliver, Pastor Michael Golden, Torrion Espree, NPS Alum–Dr. Keith Newby, Sr., Peggy Britt, George Banks, and Cashawn Easter.
