Budget Work Session

The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. in the Media Center of Fairlawn Elementary School (1132 Wade Street in Norfolk, Virginia).  Present were:  Chair Bishop, Vice Chair Rhodes, Mr. Cook, Mr. Driggers, Dr. McCluney, Dr. Tonelson, and Dr. Wright.   Others in attendance were Superintendent Jones,  Chief Officer Schmitt, Senior Director for Budget  Pellegrino, Board Clerk  Rhodes, and Deputy Clerk Stocks.  Topics included:

  1. Revenue and General Assembly Developments
  2. Budget priorities
  3. General discussion, comments, and questions.

The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
