Minutes of the Monthly School Board Meeting
August 22, 2007

Facilities Work Session

The School Board convened the work session at 5:05 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Conference Room of the School Administration Building, located at 800 E. City Hall Avenue, in Norfolk, Virginia.  Present were:  Chair Bishop, Mr. Cook, Dr. McCluney, Dr. Tonelson, and Clerk Rhodes.  Vice Chair Rhodes, Dr. McCluney, and Dr. Wright were absent.  Also present were Dr. Jones, Chief of Staff Young, Chief Academic Officer Boone, Chief Operations Officer Spencer.   

MGT of America, Inc. officers were present to present the report and answer questions.

The members discussed the facilities work session.  It was agreed that a Community Task Force should be created to get community input.

The meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
