Bumbry Chosen National AEOP Professional of the Year

National recognition for a job well done is what Robyn Bumbry, Executive Secretary to the Associate Superintendent Business & Finance, received when she was named the 2012 National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP) Olive T. Richie Office Professional of the Year award.

The road to success began when Bumbry won Norfolk Public School's AEOPN Office Professional of the Year in 2010. Later, she was nominated for and won the Virginia Association of Educational Office Professional (VAEOP) state title in 2011. The VAEOP nominated Robyn to represent the state for the national title and she won.

Robyn is proud to hold the distinction as the only AEOPN member to receive this prestigious award. She will receive this award at the NAEOP Annual Conference in Costa Messa, CA in July.
